The Association for Butterflies mini-grant was awarded to Campbell Park. The grant will create or improve habitat for pollinators and provide for nature and community to come together.

I will be using Hill Country, Texas Native Plants. We will be seeking Monarch and native pollinator plants as well as advise council from Wright’s Nursery in Briggs, TX and Back Bone Nursery in Marble Falls, TX. The use of such plants will help monarchs have a safe place to rest in their migration thru our town. These low maintenance, drought tolerant plants will promote more people to be aware of our environment and how valuable our local plants are for pollinators.
