This course is designed for Funeral Professionals so you can become better educated on how to have a successful butterfly release.   It is a self-directed course designed to teach the how, when, why, where and what if’s of butterfly releases for funerals.  The course material was written to take over the period of 3 days with an optional Final Exam.  Optional:  A fee of $5 and successfully completing the final exam is required to receive your butterfly release certification and a business listing on the website of Association for Butterflies.

USDA ePermits
All butterfly farmers who ship butterflies outside their own state are required to have USDA permits for the 9 species of butterflies allowed to cross state lines.  This course will help you save time as you learn to apply for your permits via the USDA ePermits website.
